One lab number covers an entire job, not a single sample. Samples group by where they came from — a site, a batch, a production line, a delivery — and each group carries its own tests, so a submission spanning four departments and thirty-five samples stays one job under one number. A test added days later joins the same number and is flagged as an addendum on the report. Most laboratory products assume one patient and one sample, and cannot express this.

Every bench sees only its own queue, enforced at the server rather than hidden in the screen. Derived values — means, deviations, calculated ratios — are computed from the readings, never typed. Reports print or save as PDF in the lab’s own format. And because every result lands in one place, the system answers questions spreadsheets never could: trends pooled across every job, turnaround time by department, work in progress per bench. English and Urdu, with scientific terms kept in English where staff read them that way.
